So New Super Mario Bros Wii will launch on UK shelves in two days. I

couldn’t actually be more excited about the game. But I have asked the
wife to get me it for Christmas, this may have been a bad idea.

The TV advertising campaign is in full swing, every website I visit
has the advertising banner and everywhere I go there are people
buzzing about the game. The ten year old Chris inside me is desperate to
play this as soon as possible. Christmas might as well be ten years
away to ten year old Chris. But I remember getting Super Mario Bros 3
for Christmas when I was 10. I spent the whole day reading the
instruction manual, cover to cover and back again. As soon as
relatives had left I rushed into my bedroom, with my brother
following. The feeling of entering this huge world on a special day
like Christmas Day as a child cannot be reproduced in my life, but if
I hold on to the excitement I have now until Christmas, maybe, just
maybe that magical feeling can return? Until then I shall play through
Super Mario Galaxy once more.

Only Mario can make me this excited.
